The Autumn VOLTRA I Update Launches Now

As the leaves start to turn and the air gets crisp, we're bringing you a fresh wave of updates to your VOLTRA I.

This update is packed with exciting new features, including three brand-new modes, designed to take your training to the next level (thanks to our Beta testers for the help!).

There's also some serious quality-of-life improvements for the VOLTRA I. Lock in, we're kicking off the season with some exciting additions!

Brand New Modes

Isokinetic Mode

A consistent speed throughout your entire range of motion. Speed options range from 0.1m/s to 1m/s.

Controlled training. That's the aim of the game with Isokinetic Mode - maintaining a constant speed throughout your entire range of motion, regardless of how much force you exert. This helps eliminate momentum and ensures every part of the exercise is working your muscles to their full potential, perfect for rehabilitation, strength building, or enhancing power. Choose your pace and see how you perform.

Negative Eccentric Mode

Gain complete control over the lowering phase of your exercises, helping to maximize muscle growth and strength.

We've enhanced our Eccentric Mode, allowing you to explore the negative range of motion for even greater control over the lowering phase of your exercises. This targeted approach maximizes muscle growth and strength by emphasizing the eccentric phase, where muscles experience the most micro-tears, leading to increased hypertrophy.

15-200lbs Gearless Resistance Band

Tailor your resistance, perfect your form.

New upgraded Resistance Band for VOLTRA I.

We've completely revamped our Resistance Band mode with the new 15-200lbs Gearless Resistance Band. This delivers two distinct resistance profiles with precise, pound-by-pound adjustments. This wider range opens up a whole new world of exercise possibilities and intensity levels, tailoring your workouts to your exact needs.

Auto-Updates for VOLTRA I

No more manual updates! Just turn it on, and your VOLTRA I can now automatically receive the latest enhancements. We completely understand how annoying it can be to manage your tech and have it all constantly updated, so this quality-of-life addition makes sure your VOLTRA I has all the latest modes and updates.

Once updated, this feature is enabled by default - you won't need to enable it in settings (but you'll have the option, if you wish to disable it).

New Season, New Tricks

This update has been deployed and is now downloadable via your VOLTRA I unit or the Beyond+ app. We're excited to bring you these and have plenty more cooking...

We're excited to see how you utilize these new features to elevate your training this fall. Don't forget to share your progress and feedback with us! We're always watching over on our subreddit (r/BeyondPower), emails, and our social media.

If you're trying out the new modes, make a post and tag us! We'll be bringing you more updates soon.

Love where this is going. A great next step would be ability to divide the movement range into thirds (or fourths, whatever) and apply different behavior to them. I.e., pulls and rows, I want the first third of the range to be much heavier and then to either drop to a flat amount or progressively drop off. This will allow the benefits of Prime-style SmartCam in a functional trainer. I believe the only other options in the industry is maybe the Technogym Biostrength cable but this is insanely rare and expensive so basically irrelevant to your market.

You need to increase the maximum weight capacity for heavy lifters. I would like to purchase two Voltra I units to pair with my Bullet Proof Fitness VTX Smith machine attachments. This would allow me to do Smith machine squats. I can squat heavy. Therefore, 400lbs max will not sufice. Please, increase the max weight on the unit by quite a bit if you can.
